Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

If you wish to change your Windows Live ID, go on your console and into the Account Management section. There will be an option to change it.
That may just change the Xbox Live Account email address. So, just so you make sure you are doing what you want to do, Ray, I would recommend that you go here and sign in. Then, when you sign in, at the top of the page near the middle, you will see your email address. Then by it, 'Change', in blue text. Click it, and follow the on screen instructions. This will change your WLID log in for sure.
So, I can change the WLID connected to B.net? Then, if I changed my gamertag over to that same email, I would have the same gamertag and B.net profile linked to the new email? I've been considering this for awhile, because I have two separate emails, that I would like to consolidate into one new email...
Basically.
I would just like to make one thing clear though, which you may or may not have caught. Changing the email from the site will change all of the WLID's that you associate that account with. For example:
Email A gets turned into Email B. This will cause all places using a WLID to require you to sign in using Email B instead of Email A. This would include gamertags, Bungie.Net accounts, most likely MSN accounts, Xbox.com accounts, as well as countless others.
