the main problem witht his forum is what seems like automated flames on new mombasa. The place has a bad and long history but know it's just an annoying place. I have been posting to much latlly and the majority of the response go like what follows
" shut up your wrong, waaaaaaa NEWB" and thats just an example of the what the force behind them is trying to say. Occansionaly you get an intelligent post agreeing or dissagreeing but giveing resons for both sides, some just observe and point out stuff, but they all have points except for the majority of posts which have half a line of BS on them.and even sometimes someone like shishka or griffin spades make a witty line with a lot of good meaning. Theirs really no way to stop this so it kinda sucks. It used to be Halo2 flamers that had points and the majority that didn't have points. THen it became people who give unwavering support to "bungie" and say that no matter what halo2 is the best game ever made. THey have a point but never actually mention or use it. And whenever I try to get a point across it seems like they don't even read my posts, THEY JUST FLAME... anyone else notice this on new mombasa

Unfortunatly i have. my worst experience was recently in the Classifields however, the person shall remain nameless (*cough* xSNIPEUOUTX). Unfortunatly you are right. This will never be stopped. The thing some people don't realise is that we are entitled to our own opinions but are not to insult or abuse others' opinions.

I was watching the forums for I guess about six months before I even got a passport, New Mombassa was almost 50% flame for the whole time. What I find frustrating is the flamers that do it just to flame, no point, no reason, they just want to be a jackass

I am, however at a loss to understand the point of your original post. I can tell that some forums and their pace/content are frustrating you. Other than that, was there a question or something that we might help with?
*sigh* unfortunatly their really isn't anything to do beacause technacly no flaming is not a rule.I was mainly just pointing out something that annoyed me about these forums and unlike RVB forums you guys aren't ban happy(which can be really funny) is their a way to stop this annoying trait?

[No flaming IS a rule. You can fin the rules h ere.

The definition of a flame can vary, but I try to be tolerant of how people choose to disagree with each other. However, the moment that civility is lost, that name-calling, or other abusive language is used (especially if directed at a fellow member) that is over the line in my book.

The fact is that the moderators don't always catch every thread here on Bungie.Net. Some of the more popular forums move so fast that many threads can rise up and die before we even see it. If you (or any member) witness a member or thread that is a violation of the rules, we encourage and ask that you PM a moderator.

As far as us not being ban-happy, I have a PM-Inbox full of people who would disagree with you.... strongly!

Why would you see every single post, that would just be plain scary... I mean seriously it would... But I think a lot of mods should be looking inot new mombasa, that place is a seriously messed up place that I post at a lot.
Have you ever been to RVB forums? they are seriusly ban happy, all my friends except me have been banned for good from that place

Yes these are Big problems but they are not NEW problems. As for New Mombossa the best solution is wait and hope that the spam will die down after some years. The SPAM and FLAMES are too much for the Mods to handle. Just do your best not to add any fuel to the fire by replying which will bump their threads to the top or PM them because that will only open the door for them to send hate mail to you. At least you can block their PM's
