Hmmmmm I have always wondered which one would win in a deathmatch. So input some ideas why which level is better. Sure Blood Gulch ahs the fun sniper spots and the most epic of hill battles. But Sidewinder holds a place in my heart because nothing is more importaunt than when your the only sniper on your team and Sidewinder is a long range battlefield so giving that I get 3X the kills of my fellow team members. So gimme your thoughts!

Who cares about the poll, truthfully I think sidewinder is the better level, its a little bigger then blood gulch and its perfect for sniping. Blood Gulch can be tough to snipe because of all the hills and in sidewinder its basically a big flat road and a few mountains. I think the second best level is hang em high just cuz its fun.

Blood Gultch all the way. Sidewinder is a pain in the -blam!- for CTF. ( Nice -Blam!- eh?)

I personally prefer Sidewinder, I don't know why exactly, but it rocks.

in general blood gulch...its fun with only 6 people, while for sidewinder you need at the very least 8, and i just dont have that many friends that are good at halo

(lets see... i think i have 5 that are as good as me...yeah 5)

well see, what happens is blood gulch throws dust at sidewinder, and then sidewinder blows a whole bunch of snow over at blood gulch, and then infinity shoots them both with big blue and red plasma blasts... and then... uh... yeah... um... SHUT UP! I DONT WANT TO LISTEN TO LOGIC!

The cube had food and maybe ammo. And immortality.

Early on I liked Bloodgulch the best (my irritated friends coined it "Chucklecity") but eventually preferred Sidewinder.

Once everyone learned the game the blessing and curse of Bloodgulch was that you can pistol snipe so easily that at times it feels like you are storming a beach at Normandy. I laugh at old video of our group that shows us running around the middle of the Gulch wielding a shotgun. What I like about Sidewinder is that you can get from here to there with some cover.

Someone said that Sidewinder was a pain on CTF, but I feel that way about Bloodgulch. I guess it is a matter of preference.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

I like Sidewinder, personally.... I'm a patient player, unlike many of those whom I usually deathmatch/CTF with. I like having such a big open space, with many places to hide and annoy the crap out of others. Hell, I like going even head to head with just one other player on such big maps... makes the battle drawn-out, and the fatigue will start to set in... then comes the insanity.... Battle fatigue-induced gaming insanity is always so fun to play with...

Blood Gulch is better than Sidewinder. No doubt. Sidewinder is bigger, which i guess is better with a lot of people, but i have only ever played with 4 people. i've never done systemlink.

Blood Gulch is easier to kill people in, because all of my friends have to spawn kill me with the sniper rifle. In Side Winder, it isn't that easy for them to spawn kill me!
