I seriously wonder why you didn't list iTunes. It is the best mp3 player I have seen so far. It was developed by Apple, but there is a Windows version available. You might want to check it out:

iTunes 4.6

I use it since years, and it organizes your mp3s just really well. It also supports .m4a, a newly developed codec that decreases the size of the song, but maintains the quality of it.

iTunes. Best thing I have seen so far. It's free and very well crafted

iTunes. Winamp used to be cool (2.x era), but then they release Winamp 3. Then Winamp 5. Winamp 3 and 5 both eat the crap out of system resources and are very buggy.

iTunes, on the other hand, has everything combined in one. It lets you extract music from CDs you already own (and convert them to MP3), burn CDs (MP3 or data), and even has a little music booster in it. You'll hear things in songs you never knew were there. Hell, I haven't even talked about the Music Store. Apple currently has the best music store. You should really check it out. Even if you have 56k, that is no excuse to not download the 20M setup.

The only thing Winamp 5 has over iTunes is visualizations, but you can install new ones if you're on a Mac. I'm not sure if Windows visualizations have been released yet.

I have not tried Itunes yet, I have been using winamp for a long time, I really like the broadband radio feature of Winamp 5, have you ever tried it? Super High quality streaming music, over 200 different channels, and its all free.
