Remember, trust is calculated daily, and the maximum value possible changes every day too. Since the titles are based on the percentage your trust value is compared to the maximum value, it can easily change if the max value goes up further than you go up in the intervening time, even if you haven't had any negative items against you.

In other words, no the system isn't buggy, stop asking why your title changed, I'm not going to tell you.

Wow. Someone over at Bungie towers must like Fyreball... Maybe they'll help organise the giant slingshot when the time comes. :P

How come for the first match on Vahalla, it says Bungie won 50-17 when Fyreball only scored 15?

Bungie.net

With this Recon Amor bribe, Fyreball.com will become the biggest site on the internet to date! By the way...Fyreball.com is pretty cool.

Did anybody else notice the invitation url?

Yeah. That must be Bungie's link to tell them who registered during the Recon Armor Bribe period. I have a question. Say they pick someone who doesn't have Xbox Live, how do they give them the Recon Armor? Disc?

For the record. How do we link our fyreball account to our bungie.net account... I mean, how does bungie know if we signed up?

Of course they do, they aren't directing traffic to Fyreball by accident; increased traffic will not be a surprise.

I am a little perturbed by the somewhat transparent attempt at advertising going on here. I realize (and appreciate) that Bungie's ad-free site and recent independence may cause them to seek some alternative forms of cashflow between games, but if this IS an advertisement, I don't like the way they seem to be trying to sneak it in without anyone noticing. Color me skeptical

edit: Sorry I screwed up while trying to quote...

Dude, Bungie doesn't need alternative forms of cashflow, they invented Halo 3. Have you heard of it?

Really, Bungie did something special for us because there are special friends involved, see this: http://www.fyreball.com/d/7510

I suppose trying it can't hurt - Bungie has a pretty powerful marketing tool in their hands with this website. They could have easily just posted a headline story like, "Hey, do you want recon armor? DO YOU WANT IT BAD?! Yes, yes you do. Complete these 45 surveys below and we'll consider giving it to you. MWAHAHAHAHA." And yes, I still would have done it, because like so many others have already done I too have signed up for this fyre business. I hope it's worth the download..

No money exchanged hands, maroon. As we stated in the story, it's a small startup run by a bunch of our friends and former Bungie folks with a cool little technology. This is not bribery, it's nepotism.
