As much I enjoyed using them in Halo 2, they were "cheap" since it gives an unfair advantage against casual gamers and can drive some of them nuts. Also people on PAL TVs could not perform them the same time as those on NTSC TVs (same thing for superjumps). Also, they are animation glitches that were used to a person's advantage and Bungie considers it CHEATING but ONLY in MM. In customs, you can make the rules, but in MM any glitches such as BXR, YY reload, RRXYYRRX, et cetera are cheating. It has been beaten to death and stated thousands of times by the Bungie.net overlord Anchoros (or however you spell his name).
I know that, and it's one of the points I'm trying to argue. I rarely ever use the combos in MM; but whenever somebody double shots me, I have an urge to do it back to them, even if in MM.
