Subject: Why Did You Join Bnet?

I joined after Halo 3 launched to see my stats. But I had been looking at the site since probably about 2005 or 2006. I checked here to see updates and whatnot, and after halo 3's launch, got into the forums because of the Recon search (remember that thread? 700 pages of pure speculation and circularity)

I joined when I got Xbox live working.

I had a years subscription card bought for me pretty much after it was invented but never got round to setting it up until about 4 months before halo 3 came out. Then after I got Halo 3 I joined up on here as I thought there wasn't much point in joining BEFORE i got the game....

Now I sort of stick around because of the UK Gamers clan/group but also because sometimes, occasinally I throw caution to the wind and sometimes help someone from the forums.

Sometimes it pays off and makes me feel all warm inside.

Hello.

I joined Bungie.net simply because I wanted to keep track of all my stats on Halo 3. But, that is not my main purpose for Bungie.net anymore.

I got into groups. I created a group for my clan. It was very unsuccessful, but that is because I was very inactive on it.

One day, I earned 1000 Gamerscore in Halo 3. I still only posted occasionally on here. But, something happened. I decided to create a group where people with 1000 Gamerscore in Halo 3 could share their ideas to help the Bungie.net community.

This group turned out to have gained 600 members. Now, I use Bungie.net to improve the 7th Column.

I joined because of three things:

-Halo 3 had just been announced
-I wanted to check out my Halo 2 Stats
-A friend of mine recommended it

I've been here for almost 3 months and I joined because I have been visiting this site for years and I finally decided to join.

I joined because I've been having quite a bit of fun with Halo 3. Played 2 and CE back when they came out, but never got into multiplayer until now. Plus, I've been a fan of Bungie's since the Marathon and Myth days, which should say something about my age...

Remember, trust is calculated daily, and the maximum value possible changes every day too. Since the titles are based on the percentage your trust value is compared to the maximum value, it can easily change if the max value goes up further than you go up in the intervening time, even if you haven't had any negative items against you.

In other words, no the system isn't buggy, stop asking why your title changed, I'm not going to tell you.

I was a lurker on the site for at least three years. I then joined for the ever so exciting run-up to Halo 2.

Badge Man
Bungie.net

I joined Bungie.net because I could look at my Halo 2 stats. Actually, I was looking at my stats back in May 2006 when my friend told me but I didn't know that I could actually register. If I would have actually read the WHOLE Halo and Halo 2 instruction manual I would have been registered at Bungie.net since January 9, 2004 but...:(

Sigs just aren't what they used to be.

I simply joined here to get the Bungie.net logo next to my gamer tag in Halo 2. Then I saw the forums... and I've been here ever since.

A More Complete Compendium of a Bungie History
-Thanatos 117

I was a big Halo fan since the day it came out when I invested in the Xbox and Halo. I didn't realize it was a product of Bungie until I purchased the Strategy Guide where it directed me to combatevolved.com. This directed to me to bungie.com and therefore bungie.net. I joined sometime in August of 2002 and made a new account that was the same as my Xbox Live account in January, 2003. I mainly joined bungie.net to talk with the makers of the games I've been playing since I was a kid.

I'm so good at Halo, Chuck Norris has me as an avoided player.

A strange man broke into my house, put a large spatula to my head, and forced me tp sign up. He then made a crude comment about my mom, and left, headed west.
