Subject: Why Did You Join Bnet?

"We don't stop playing because we grow old . . . we grow old because we stop playing." -FarQuit circa 2002

"People shouldn't be afraid of their governments; their governments should be afraid of them."

"The idea of God is the sole wrong for which I cannot forgive mankind" - Marquis De Sade

I poked around listening to the bloopers they used to have (miss those they were funny as hell!) But I registered and linking B.net to my GT late 2006 when I got into H2's multiplayer and noticed people with the Bungie.net behind their name and was intrigued.

I joined because I knew several other people on the site, and figured I'd have a good place to complain about assault on Burial Mounds >.>

hm. well, I had been hearing about the legend of Halo since it was released, but only after borrowing a friends Xbox and buying Halo 2 did I envelope myself in its winsauce. Shortly afterwards,i wondered about the website for the game. So, good ol Google brought me here. Actually, I think I landed in Halo.bungie.org first, and then found my way here. lol.
Those were my early days of immature and fairly pointless surfing of the forums. Then, silence for a few years. I then made this new account, linked my tag, and have been a happy member of the community ever since. Though I am but a Heroic member, I plan to continue to positively contribute to the forums as best I can.

I joined because after playing Halo 1, I wanted to learn more about the awesome people who created the games and why I hadn't heard of them before. Then again back then I used to never pay attention to the studios but Bungie was the first one I learned to admire and respect for the job they do. My dad tried to beat into me that making video games is not respectable

I joined to track Halo 2 stats, but quickly lost interest in that when I found the forums. It's nice to be able to voice opinions about games, and discuss the community itself, along with anything else, as long as its in the right group or forum. Sometimes it is even done with people that may disagree with you but do it in a civil manner. I like the debates, games and community. I spend most of my time here or in the flood. Some of the best and worst discussions happen in these two forums IMO. I also like to learn about different things that are in games, and different playing styles, what better place to do that than a website full of people that play the same game?

Old GTs; RebelRobot, Flamedude

I just got so engrossed in Halo that I wanted to talk to others about it. The ultimate weapon the plasma pistol, setting up big battles, 10 marine glitch on TaR, thirsty grunt, hog launching, GS 343, the second "hushed casket" on PoA, etc etc.

1. I loved Halo
2. I saw people making completely false comments and wanted to put them in line.

OMG, gaming for the fun of it.

I wanted the Bungie.net thing behind my name while matchmaking in Halo 2, shallow yes, but the stats were cool also.

Started actively posting about a year and a half ago now.
