Also, a few of us were talking during matchmaking and Halo: Reach is definitely going to be, not a first person shooter, not a third person shooter, but a second person shooter. Bungie is going to revolutionize the way you watch other people play games.

Just had a great idea that would help to improve the quality of the forums (namely, the Halo 3 one). Maybe this is a little overzealous, but I think that it would work great, and have only positive effects.

Auto-prohibit the use of the word "Sign" in forum thread titles. Maybe this would help get rid of the epidemic of "Sign here if you have two arms and a head!"-like threads that crop up by the hour.

You missed the point like Vader missed the banshee, your whole argument is covered in bees.
Stop sending me group invites -blam!-s!

It wouldn't work. People would just use variations of 'sign' and I don't think it is against the rules. If it is, just use the report feature and move on.

From the ashes

It's not just the "Sign Here" threads it's also threads that have no point but remain, or repeated threads that have happened many times before. More factors are in it that the infamous "sign Here" threads. Also if he wanted it to be a "Sign here" thread he could just make the title "Read inside" and make it that type of thread, too many ways for some to manipulate the system sadly.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

I am not a big fan of the overabundance of those threads, but I think that there are too many ways around this idea and too many legitimate threads that would be prohibited for this idea to work. I think that leaving it up to the moderators and the "Report" feature is the best option.
