I got Halo for the pc to replace my broken Xbox copy.
I have a Really good gaming pc, capable of running games like COD2
without any prob;lems at all.
But when i play Halo, it lags all the time, and i dunno why,
is the video settings or my pc?

Help appreciated

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

The RAM is the problem. you need at least 1GB to run games well on XP, and at least 1.5GB to run games reasonable well on Vista.

Halo PC isn't RAM dependant; I ran it perfectly fine with 256MB and a 9800 Pro.

What's wrong with this guy and his 'lag' is his "NVIDIA Graphics Package", that just screams integrated graphics to me.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I had a similar problem with one of my old PC's. I think the processor is too slow. Try running Halo with the -useff switch and see if that helps.

Node, .Halo can support processors as low as 733Mhz. It's probably something taking up his CPU, or he joins bad servers.

Well he didn't specify Halo 1 or 2, and "Nvidia Graphics Package" doesn't exactly mean anything.

It also depends on what computer he has
hp,compaq, dell.NOW ALIENWARE should never have these problems, gateway, etc

he also didn't specifi what graphic card it was from the nvidia package
unless i missed it..

sometimes the programing of the computer cannot except certain things..which should not happen....
there is other reason's as well
PS. don't run it on full graphics
keep it at medium for sound and graphics
skrew around with the seting for it you may find a suitable setting.
