Whatever you use depends on what you used when you first picked up the controller. Default or Inverted, its all the same when you're new, its all hard. You just pick whichever you get given, and stick to it. I personally find that this happens everywhere and not just in Halo.
I'm a drummer and I'm left handed. I was taught 'the right handed way' (right hand over left) and its what I've stuck with. Its the same with Halo, stick to what you start with.
I tried Default and failed miserably, I simply did the opposite to what I want to do because I'm so used to Inverted. This then led me on to play all 1st person (and 3rd person) shooters in an Inverted fashion.
Niether is better than the other, both are equal. It should be 'What do you use? Default or Inverted?' Not 'Which is Best?'
When I see a Default user, I find it quite weird as I only know 2. I'm quite suprised that the majority of gamers on this forum use Default, as the majority of my friends use Inverted. Just shows how a small group doesn't necessarily represent the overall.
