The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher regard those who think alike than those who think differently.

I'm confused.
In Ranked matchmaking the Trueskill system rates games of mixed skill levels as "low quality" and the experience points awarded for a win are reduced accordingly. As I understand it, Bungie tweaked these parameters somehow to enhance the negative impact of attempting to "boost" your skill level by teaming up with players of much higher skill. So, mixed parties result in a slowing of skill level advancement to discourage this skill boosting.
With the mixed party restrictions turned off in Team Slayer and Ranked BTB, does this mean that this anti-boosting mechanism is also disabled or can we still count on ranking slowly, or not at all, if we go in with a mixed team?
I need to know because I would like to go into Ranked BTB with friends that I previously could not play with, due to the differances in our skill level...while at the same time I don't want to do this if it means that my skill level advancement in that playlist will effectively halt.
