1-2) I’m sure the Forum Ninjas want all of the “rank me up” threads locked too. But you know what? You can’t stop 100% of them, you never will. There will always be time gaps where a single Forum Ninja isn’t online watching the forums, so get used to it.
3) If you look, the current pinned topics list for the H3 forum goes half way down your page. You don’t want a whole page of stickies because that ruins the whole point of presenting them as an important thread. If the moderators feel that a new sticky is needed, they’ll add/create one.
4) Again, you bluntly call out the need of more moderators without thinking the benefits and consequences of such an action. Let HFCS decide when more mods are needed. They know best if there is a lack of control on the forums and will react accordingly. We have the “Report” button to help out the Forum Ninjas with spam. If we, as a whole, use it, spam will be reduced on all boards. Since the feature has been implemented a few months ago, spam has significantly reduced in numbers.
5) I don’t feel this feature is needed. Instead, warnings and 2-3day short-term blacklists seem sufficient to deal with the issue. No need to do more work modifying the type of bans when the existing method works just fine.
6) Your proposal intrigues me. I’m against restricting members from participating in the forums because this is a place for social activity and discussion. However, if a member creates 20+ threads a day, I guarantee some will be spam. A “post topic” limit would help reduce spam but still allow a user to participate on these forums with an unlimited amount of replies. Maybe a 5-6 thread limit creation a day per user? Just a thought to help get the ball rolling on the idea.

I'm sorry bungie, but I feel your site is out of control, at least the Halo 3 forum is, you guys need to crackdown on this. Posts will move to second page is seconds.
1. Lock all "Help with rank threads"
2. Lock all Recon threads
3. More stickes. Heck, if there was a stickie for melee, that would kill loads of threads. I think even a sticky for people to "vent" frustration that get from playing will help. I know even I am guilty of such threads.
4. To do all this, we need more mods, dont care who, as long as they are fair.
5. Maybe more types of bans, for example, "Not being able to post need threads for a week" can still reply and what not, just nothing new.
6. Increase the delay between new threads, people shouldn't need to make 20 new threads a day.
I visit this site more then anything else, but I'm starting to spend less time here. I don't mean to tell you guys how to do your job, but this is just getting out of hand.
