Can you believe it?

Holy -blam!-. Man, I would kill to have that stuff Bungie gave him. Wow, lucky guy.....

I gotta give it to Bungie though, I mean, there are very few (if any) companies that would do this. Makes me proud to be a Bungie fan :D

And it makes me proud to be part of the Bungie Community :)

<3 Forky

That happening is why people like Bungie, well, at least the intelligent people. I commend Bungie for doing something like that. I'd bet Epic Games would never do something like that.

That was nice of Bungie to do this, if it really happened. This could've been a made-up story or maybe it wasn't.

Whoa. That's cool man!

See, you can tell Bungie cares, because they could've just sent the guy the cool stuff. But they instead took the extra step and got it signed. Thats just so cool.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

Lol.

"Marty O' Donnel

DO NOT ERASE! "

It's really nice of Bungie to do this.

You know some total ass is going to forge a bunch of signatures onto his xbox when it RRoDs, then post the story on the internet and sue Bungie when they don't do the same thing for him.

Anyways, at least the sigs are on something that wont RRoD now.

Forging signatures is a serious criminal offense. How would they be the ones doing the suing.
I know that, but if someone where to go and just forge say, Marty's signature on their Xbox right now, with no one watching, there is no proof it is fake except for Marty's word that he didn't do it. How would Bungie know about the forgery before this person contacted them? I'm coming from the perspective that this person would sue Bungie first I guess.

You can't sue Bungie for not giving you free stuff. True, they heard about what happened and went out of their way, but I would bet that it wasn't meant to legally assuge the guy for his predicament. I wouldn't be surprised if they told him to stay in touch with Mircrosoft in the hopes of new info surfacing, though more than likely his Xbox(case) is gone. I still think Microsoft owes him something more anyway.

As for forging Marty's signature, yeah they have people that can easily detect attempts by amatuers. If one were so skilled as well as inclined to try to forge Marty's signature, send it into MS for the 3 red light error to knowingly have it lost, and then sue Bungie because they didn't get free schwag, well, I would think that type of person would have more fruitful fraudulent activites to attend to than a pipe-dream, forged signature-free schwag lawsuit. Perhaps like attempting to sue Microsoft for losing their illegitimate autographed 360.
