Dear Bunige and all people who play halo
Do any of you miss being able to find out if people are in a clan? Or being able to be in a clan? Well i've been waiting since the beginning of halo3 for the up date so you can have clans. what i'm thinking they should do is bring back the Halo 2 style clan set up.
so if you think so to email Bunige so maybe they can bring it back!

I get more ass than a toilet seat.

Actually Bungie made Halo. Not Bunige or Bunie.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

Stay on topic.

Halo 3 does not have clan support because it relies on the Xbox 360's Dashboard Friends and Messaging System. The Dashboard does not incorporate any kind of clan system (likely because clans and their abilities vary so much that it is nigh impossible to create a functioning system capable of servicing all games), so Halo 3 cannot use create or use any such system.

Technically, that was on topic. Anyhoo it wouldn't be able to support clans.

Bungie already explained how to still have clans with a workaround 2 WWU's ago, remember the one people kept complaining about:

We don’t have any idea about future plans for Xbox Live clan implementation. However, there is already a “hack” that works surprisingly well for mini-clans. You simply make a new Silver Account, (IceSharkClan, for example) and using the Friends of Friends visibility, you can have your clan members use that friend as a hub around which to gather the Clan. That account never needs to actually play – just provide Clan visibility. It actually works really well and even allows for multiple clan memberships. As for matchmaking inclusion, that’s a complicated issue – but we will have some more news about more competitive matchmaking hoppers soon.

Nothing is impossible. I know it is very well possible in fact, but Bungie and Live dont give it any priority. Ithink Bungie discourages the clan possibility.
I think its way better to make an Clan option than to do any other stupid gameplay for only an weekend. There are a lot of people who want to have a level as a groep. It will make poeple play better as a team instead of rushing.

Wait, you're saying that if Bungie implements clans, it would make people play better as a team? The same people who are already on your friends list would be in your clan, so who exactly are you going to play better as a team with?

1. Lets face it, our clan list in Halo 2 was nothing more than an extended friend's list. Which wasn't a bad thing because it gave us room for more friends. But never the less, it didn't serve its intended purpose.

2. No one ever played clan matches. It was always the least played playlist. Mainly because the quality matchmaking system was thrown out the window with clans. People would just make new clans over and over so they could kick the crap out of lower level players.

For the millionth time, Bungie will never implement clans. Clans will have to come from Xbox live.
