With the info from the BungieWeeklyUpdate it sounds like they will keep track of how you do with individual guns. I think Bungie should keep track of accuracy for each individual gun, so we could see who's the best Sniper who's the best with a Battle Rifle and so on. What do you guys think?

Yeah like in James Bond: Nightfire. Except with like SMGs and stuff, the accuracy really would depend on the distance lying between you and your target.

The system will be abused and thus I say keep it out.

I really don't want it. How would it deal with shooting fusion cores, vehicles or destructable environments? I know I will be blasting alot of destructable environments and I don't want to have to worry that my accuracy is going down because I am doing so.

I only want it to keep track of how many kills I get for each gun. That way I can see how often I am using certain guns.

I forgot about that aspect nice counter-point Hikaru. I remeber on every game I have eever been on their has been some exploitation involved, but still if there were some way to keep it clean it would be sweet

My thumbsticks will be your Doom.... sorry 'bout that.

What?! How can you abuse the system? That makes no sense and your detailed explanation of how the Stats will be abused leaves much to be desired.

I can't wait for the stats to be up and running when H2 ships. The accuracy would be cool (especially if it's on specific weapons and not just an overall % and headshots).

Oh yeah how would accuracy be determined by the target distance? That makes no sense too. A hit's a hit is a hit... (unless it's a headshot then it's a deadly hit).

Maybe tracking where you hit them? like keeping track of head shot kills comparable to chest kills is another form of accuracy stat

I would go for that. It would be nice to see what percentage of your battle rifle shots are head shots.

Well if they don't have accuracy %'s then they'll atleast keep track of kills and how they are aquired (they do already have specific frag messages). But now that I think about it the accuracy % will probly not be implemented (keeping track of every shot fired on every game running would be a bit much compared to just keeping track of kills).

I think the main thing something like that would be used for would be XBox Live. You could compete with other people. :)

Maybe when you fire at a vehicle or a interactable piece of enviroment it wont affect your stats but I really want to know how im killing people and work with more guns and see signs of improvments

I agree with the people who are talking about kill accuracy, rather than overall. I know that sometimes I like just destroying destructable things, just to see them go "boom!" I wouldn't want to lose accuracy because of this.

Yeah when I made this topic I forgot about destructible enviroments but if it kept track of head shot kills that would be sweet
