*Cube self-destructs, because it is impossible for my lumbering drones to assimilate your nimble jedi. The Jedi All die*

That's what you think. But really they escaped at the last minute. You see, we can cloak our ships to Borg sensors (I can't remember how, I saw it in a ST episode ages ago where it shows how 7 of 9's parents studied the Borg). You probably didn't see them enter, and you definitely didn't see them leave.

They have now gone to regroup to think of a better plan...

You can't use ST tech. You're stuck with StarWars Tech. You can lose ten jedi. Sheesh. Don't jack this likte the shapeshifter guy did the last time.

Well, I'm Star Wars again.

And I"m still a Jedi of Awesome (my own new class...it's so awesome that it kicks the crap outta any other Jedi out there. Complete Force mastery, unmatched lightsaber skills, and a brilliant strategist who is capable of commanding a massive military group).

I have one question...would having a Star Forge count as a superweapon?

Anyhow, I have command of the Rebel/New Republic Fleet. 5 Calamari Super Cruisers, 30 Calamari Cruisers, 75 Blockade Runners, 12 Wings of X-wings, 10 of A-wings, 4 of B-wings, and 3 wings of our new E-wings.

Oh yeah!

Ouch... Star Trek doesn't really have small fighters... If you arm them with projectile weapons, I'm screwed!

Anywho, My fleet moves in and engages, vastly outnumbering your forces. 2 of your blockade runners are captured and all crew assimilated. 1 cube severly damaged. My borg cubes (armed mainly with cutting rays and tractor beams) weapons are woefully underpowered to deal with your heavier calamari-built ships however.

All the Rebel/New Republic fighters in Star Wars come loaded with projectile weapons.

Specs (I could use the X-wing vs. TIE Fighter rules, but those are too complicated, so I'll just use the Rogue Squadron rules):
A-wing--8 Concussion Missiles (w/lock-on)
X-wing--6 Proton Torpedoes (w/lock-on)
B-wing--12 Proton Torpedoes (w/lock-on)
Y-wing-- 20 Ion Bombs (w/cluster damage, regenerating)
E-wing--16 Proton Torpedoes (w/lock-on)

I forgot to add in the fact that I have 8 wings of Y-wings.

Also, Y-, B-, and E-(I think) Wings have Ion Cannons along with their standard blasters. Different frequencies (if we wanna play by your rules...well, actually, ions are just charged electricity) mean that your Borg will continually have to adapt to either blaster fire or ion cannon fire.

In terms of durability, strongest to weakest goes: E-, B-, Y-, X-, A-.

Speed: A-, E-, X-, Y-, B-.

E-, X-, and Y-wings all have onboard Astromech droids that can make onboard repairs and basically give the ship a new life.

And I'm not making E-wings up, either. They're in the Star Wars offical guide to Vehicles and Fighters.(or something like that)

Anyhow, I'm gonna retreat right now because I have to get off the computer and I don't want my forces to be tampered with...unless I can form some sort of nonagression pact while I'm away...

Also, all the cruisers come equipped with Proton Torpedo and Concussion Missile tubes...I'm gonna check up on just how many later.

*Holds hands up innocently* okay, okay.

One thing I'm not sure about though, I suppose I can't be the Rebels because Casey is... but can I be the Republic? They are from differents "era"s.

Halifax the marine is sitting in a ship waiting for something to do. "Why does everything have to be space battles?" He asks in a bored manner.

No, not really... Once I am adapted, I stay adapted. I can adapt to laser fire, but not blaster fire. My ships are so massive though, that blaster fire takes awhile to really do much. Anywho, I quickly adapt to your ion cannons, but your missiles, torpedoes, and blasters (all aimed at my weapon systems) take out the cutting beams and tractor beams on 30 of my ships, leaving them useless for anything but surface operations. They circle around to the other side of the planet and begin surface operations. The remaining 469 ships capture 27 of your figters (14 y-wings and 13 b-wings) and assimilate their crew. The remaining figthers break off.

That book rocks. I have it too.

Half-life, because it has no spacecraft, starts with control of the planet. ANd I just landed 30 Cubes worth of ground troops... that's several thousand units.
