This really belongs in The Flood. And I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

But seriously... Are many people doing this? No wonder all my games are so laggy.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

I assume you wish to bridge an internet connection through your PC, which is what I do. Windows XP (SP 2 as far as I know) is capable of doing this by default.

Click the start menu, and select Control Panel. Double click Network Connections. Select both network adapters you plan to use (both need to be wired), right click one of them, and select Bridge Connections.

A third icon will appear, and you should be good to go.

Thanks a lot Prometheus25. I'll try that once I get home from work tonight. Thanks again.

I always used to use ICS through win98 and it worked fine with no lag whatsoever, well none that I noticed anyway, I even got host numerous times.

Hi all.

My 360 came back from Uncle Bill's UK grotto yesterday, Yay! I have a wee problem though. Whilst it was away being fixed I acquired an XP Professional 'puter ( I used to connect to Live through an old Win98 machine ) and basically I'm toiling at getting ICS to work.

My pc uses a usb modem to connect up to the webz and I planned on just plugging the 360 into the NIC card and running ICS as I did in win98. I eventually got the 360 to connect to Live late last night but both Firefox & IE don't work.

Can anyone spare a few minutes to give me some help / advice? Thanks in advance.
