well lets say maybe halo 3 isnt getting what it was promised, but along the horizon lies a new age coming. i found some info while carlessly clicking.

at this website http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Halo:_Chronicles
i found this,

Peter Jackson, with his recently-formed Wingnut Interactive, is creating a game set in the Halo universe, in partnership with Bungie Studios. The game is toted to be a "new chapter" and a "new trilogy" in the Halo story and is slated to feature a new way of playing games.

In UK Xbox 360 magazine Xbox World 360, it was speculated that the game will be more of an 'interactive movie', where some parts will be semi-playable, and certain decisions will lead to different outcomes that you then have to watch play out.

It was confirmed by Shane Kim at GDC 07 that the project was an episodic title. According to Microsoft, Bungie and Jackson are planning two episodic series for the Xbox 360. These games appear to be in a downloadable format. Microsoft went on to say that the game is now in the development phase.[1]

It has been rumoured that a preview of Halo: Chronicles will ship with Halo Wars[2?].

well now, isnt that a lil neat.

i wonder how far they are planing to go with the storyline, (past -future).

i think games as a STANDARD should up it to 'interactive movie', since visual appeal is so high. these 'Mags' (movie games), are going to spread out here within the next few years, while appealing to both gamers and movie lovers. what could this mean...

a halo movie, wait... where is that link i had...

there i found this.

Halo (film)
From Halopedia, the Halo Wikia, working on 4,289 articles

This article is about the Real World.
Rumors of a Halo movie had been heard for a while, but in 2005 it was officially confirmed by Bungie. While the movie was intended to be handled by 20th Century Fox and Universal Pictures, they have both since pulled out of the deal however after a delay 20th Century Fox has decided to go on. It would have been a live-action flick, but with a heavy amount of CGI. Wingnut Films, the team behind Lord of the Rings and King Kong, was working on the movie. However, in October 2006 the movie was postponed indefinitely until new distributors can be found (see timeline below for more details). Before the movie was shelved it was revealed that the film would have been shot in Wellington, New Zealand and was slated for a summer 2008 release.[1] To keep the film's producers true to the Halo Universe, Bungie prepared an exhaustive encyclopedia known to some as either the "Halo Compendium" or the Halo Story Bible, describing nearly every topic in the Halo games and novels including graphics of characters, species and vessels.[2]

Bumptacular, very nice.

This is all old news, Jackson's cryptic Halo game has been in development for years, and as long as the movie is on perma-hold.......we'll never see the game. Because as all gamers know, movie companies won't put out a game if there is no movie to whore right along side it.
