Of all the cells in/on your body, less than 1/3 of them are yours.
However most of these bacteria are vital in good health and kill off infectious/harmful bacteria. I've heard stories about young children who never got dirty who got sick all the time until a doctor told their parents to let them get dirty. The children built up resistance to bad bacteria and gained a greater quantity of good bacteria making them well.
DON'T USE HAND SANITIZER. It kills off all the bacteria except for the ones that are resistant or immune to antibiotics making an infection much much more fatal. instead use none antibacterial soaps that remove bacteria rather than kill them.
