Are you playing on Vista or XP?
nvidia 528 mbplease clarify
im playing xp but i used to be able to play i switched from celeron to pentium and this started happening
Is it the same computer? Does the Pentium processor have the same socket type as the Celeron one? Also, did you change anything else?
yes it is the same computer the videocard is a nvidie fx 5500 yes its the same socket and no i didnt change anything else
Well, all I can suggest is getting some new RAM.You also might want to reinstall Windows since you put in a new processor.
this only happens with halo too, not with any other game
Do you have the latest drivers for your video card? Also, do you own the full version or just the trial?
i own both yes i did update the drivers
Have you tried reinstalling the trial and/or full game?
yes like a thousand times
Try clicking a lot, like really fast when the game is up. Seriously, I believe this helped someone ages ago.
nope didnt work
Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.
Maybe you could run it with -safemode. Right click the Halo shortcut and go to Properties. In the Target line after "halo.exe" add -safemode
