You spelled "too" like "to". Naughty! Well, I still insist that PC is where it is all at!

i prefer xbox..................the problem with the pc is that the size of the screen is too small i bet no one has a screen bigger than 25", for me thats too small i need the screen size to be alot bigger because it plays better on a big screen for me.

And the controls, you can never find a decent pad and when you do co-op or split screen someone has to use the keyboard to play which is crap, if you do multiplayer or co-op the screen will still be small and make the gameplay crap.

Also sometimes if too much is going on in a game on the pc , the game framerate will slowdown and mess the game up, unless some of you has alot of RAM, but i bet only some of you do. My xbox never slows down and i've never suffered slow frame rate.

these are just some problems i have with halo 2 on the pc

i'm not saying the pc is crap, i own a decent one. i just prefer playing most games on console.

Ok well I have to put my 2-bits in. The PC can be way better if you have the $$$$$$. Of course most of us don't so it is easier to buy an xbox. Ok, I'm done.

you're not considering all the facts, for the 1000+$ comp, everything is usually included: moniter;speakers; the whole deal. But for the Xbox, whatever it costs now (150$, i dunno), only includes it, not the TV, which even a decent one tends to cost like 500$, and thats just a 20" cathode ray tube TV, dont get me started on even a 27" LCD tv which can go for nearly 3000$ sometimes.

PC's will always be the best out there............. but i still like to play Halo on my Xbox..... i would never betrey my Xbox and play Halo on the PC. PC is meant for their own unique games, not ones that are from a different console. i will always have a PC in my life even when im 80 and i will still be playing Halo2!!!!........... on Xbox.

No offence macs suck.

I know Bungie need to make money but it's games like Halo that make the console really good but then, when PC get Halo everyone says Xbox sucks because its out on PC and more people have PC's than Xbox's and say "whats the point in getting a Xbox when i own a PC".
So i hope Halo 2 will stay on Xbox only but it most likely won't because of money issue's.
Anyway i will have it for Xbox and not PC.

They dont suck for what i'm using it for which is music production and graphics, by the way 'Microsoft' use Apple G5'S, The next xbox will use 2 chips that are based on the Apple G5 chip and also Microsoft are using G5's to create games and software for the next xbox.

I do graphical stuff as well. What program do you like most for that? I also do music, but not productively, just passively. Just interesting.

*sigh*
A dedicated, optimized thing like the Xbox will always offer better bang-for-buck, not considering personal preference for mouse/keyboard or controller. I happen to have a computer that can play games, so that's one of the many things I use it for. If you feel it worthwhile to assemble a computer just for games, more power to you. A new PC nowadays can certainly do MUCH more than the Xbox has ever done yet, but we don't know for sure how much more that PC or the Xbox can do so we shouldn't be arguing. I dunno about you guys, but my PC has four case fans blowing warm air while the Xbox is having such an easy time that Microshaft stopped making them with cooling fans. If you pushed that Xbox harder and took advantage of what its hardware can do, it would look much sweeeter. That hasn't happened yet, but it just might... It certainly won't be done with any PC game because it can't be done; the PC's running everything through some operating system along with who knows what else and the game can't be tailored to the PC's particular configuration. That's why the Xbox holds its own against PCs with far superior hardware and has only kinda recently been eclipsed.

As for the whole gamepad vs. mouse/keyboard combo, I think it's silly to make a fight out of it. It depends on your mouse 'N keyboard anyway since they aren't all the same. I find aiming with the Xbox controller's sticks much easier than with a cheap mouse and much clumsier and slower than aiming with a good mouse. I also like the keyboard better than the few buttons I get on a controller, but I like the analog triggers better for what game developers can do with them. Why does anyone care if someone has a different preference overall?

If you have a top of the line PC When Halo 2 is possibly availavle for xbox, then probably yes. Except i think it will run smoother for SP, and also on XBL because Halo 2 is originally built for the xbox. Not that converting wil change anything, but i think Bungie favors the fact that everyone will et the same experience when they use an xbox to play Halo.

It is possible to port a system to 2 different platforms and still have same experience, except for controls. I am a personal believer that someday they will make games that can interact multiplayerwize with PC's and X-Box's at the same time.
