Worst. Cliffhanger. Ever.

I screamed "F***!" and threw the book across the room.

Stephen King, I think...

I don't know; the books across the room and I don't feel like going to get it. I was literally crying at the end, not from sadness or joy, but just from how powerfully lucid the book was.

I don't really like novels, except the stuff the -blam!-s of the education system make you read.

I find it amazingly careless that one such as you would risk what intelligence* he has with alcohol.

*this is using a generously broad definition of the term "intelligence."

The Dark Tower Series is one of the best ever! Once you read one you can't stop reading them...

I know! I actually find it's a bit different, though. I can't stop once I've picked it up, but once I do I find it hard to pick it up again.

Either I can read it or I can't. Starting one or stopping the other is really difficult.

read all of chuck palahniuk's novels
he wrote fight club (the book) and thats seriously the weakest of his books

  • 06.16.2004 12:13 PM PDT

Talking about Chuck:

Sadly they don't have the story up there, but it was included alongside the article in the paper itself. It's brilliant!
Fight Club (the film) was pretty good I thought.
