Two questions about Halo 2's framerate:

1. By taking the Xbox's system "to the limits" would this mean that this is going to take the frame rate to he lowest?

2. Do you think having a clunky framerate in Halo 2 would interfere with game play?

3. Does anyone know a framerate number for Halo 2? (The original Halo runned a 30 fps.)

Microsoft has it so that every game HAS TO HAVE a 30 fps minimum to run. And if Halo was 30, than i don't think there will be any problems

with all of the new compresion techniques and how hard bungie has been working and is still working on halo2(thank you bungie) i think it will run even better than the original. probobly around 50fps. oh i just rememberd. it has a high-def capabilities so it must have a high frame rate (high-def is not only good picture quality but high frame rate.

Bungie is using bump-mapping in HALO 2 to create compressed data in the textures. This will make it quicker than the first HALO.

That's exactly what they meant, they're planning on the game having a horrible frame rate to test the limits of Halo fans everywhere.

Side note, you asked three questions.
