Crawnbarrie
Many years ago two children crawled through the shadows of night towards the city park. A few other city kids had told them that there was treasure buried there, but they should only dig for it at night so they wouldn't get in trouble. Now, being only 8 years old, the friends put all there faith into this story, and believed they were about to find everything they could ever want. While going at night scared the toddlers, the thought of all the riches persuaded them into the adventure.
Sneaking out of their house, they were equipped with flashlights, plastic shovels, and cheese (they had a mighty love for cheese those children did!). When they finally reached the park, the kids started digging around in the area they had been told to look in. Suddenly they heard a shuffling noise behind them. They both turned around in fear, expecting some dangerous animal or something of the sort, but they saw nothing there. The kids were scared, but the draw of the treasure pulled them back to their work.
Almost ten minutes had passed when they heard a noise once again, except this time it was a scratching sound. They turned around in an instant, shining their flashlights beam in the direction of the noise. They saw no living being, and the light caught a tree. At first, they thought the scratching must have been from the branches, but when they looked closer, they found a message in the bark.
"My nife wil find the Crawnbarrie joos."
When the two tots were not to be found in the morning, the news was all over the place. The jokesters that had lied to them about the treasure decided they had better check things out. When they reached the park, they found no trace of the kids. However, upon a further investigation, they found a plastic bottle half-full of a red liquid labeled in crude writing "Crawnbarrie Joos". One of the kids dipped in his finger, pulled it out, and licked the liquid off. Funny, it didn't taste like cranberry juice, it tasted more like...
the kids screamed and ran away as a small human eyeball floated up to the surface of the drink.
