Scariest story I've heard in a long time.

Group invites will be treated very poorly because the Care Package is empty.

2nd one was as scary as hell, imagine the guys face when he found out that the red was the eye.

True Story Here

On the summer of 2005, newleweds checked into a hotel room. The first room they went to, would not open with the key, so they returned to the deskclerk to ask for another room. The deskclerk gave them another room without a word.
The newleweds entered the room but were disgusted to smell a horifying stench, that of which resembled a dead body. The couple examined the room and found no source of the strange order. The husband offered to get another room, but the wife refused saying, "We've troubled the hotel enough by asking for a new room, let's not trouble them again."
The couple went ahead and slept on seperate beds, they did not want to get the wrong idea in such a filthy room. The wife got the bed that was rather lumby, and the springs creaked alot.

The next morning, the couple decided to go home and excape the room that seemed to give them the spooks. After comming home, the police called and asked the couple if they had been inhabbiting the room that had the nasty stench.
The wife said yes, but the policeman said that she had been sleeping on a dead body that was hidden inside the mattress. The lumpiness was from the body, the creaking was from the wife crushing the bugs that were on the body, and the stench was from the rotting of the body.

The Intruder

My friend's sister frequently babysat. One night, she was watching three kids, whose parents were going to be out until about 2:00am. She fed the kids and then they watched some movies. Around 8:00pm, she put the two-year-old to bed. At 8:30, she put the four-year-old to bed and at 9:00, the eight-year old.

She was still hungry so she went back downstairs to make herself a sandwich. When she was almost done, she heard the eight-year-old crying and calling her name. She went upstairs to see what was wrong. When she got up there, the child said she was cold, so the babysitter looked around for another blanket.

As she was doing that, she noticed that the window was open. She thought she had closed all of them but didn't think anything else of it. She closed the window, gave the little girl another blanket, and checked the other windows in the other two children's rooms to make sure they were secure, and then went back downstairs.

When she went back to the kitchen, she noticed that her sandwich was gone. She just brushed it off and blamed it on the dog. She made herself another sandwich. Again, she heard crying, but this time it was the four-year-old. She went to his room, and he too said he was cold. She noticed the window was open again. She was worried this time because she knew she had locked it. She didn't want to scare the child so she just shut and locked it.

She returned downstairs and turned on the alarm system. When she went back to the kitchen, she discovered that her second sandwich was gone. She was really worried so she decided to call the cops. When she told them that her sandwiches were disappearing, they thought she was crazy. She then told them about the windows opening repeatedly and they said it was probably just the kids doing it. After she hung up, she made herself a third sandwich.

She soon heard the two-year-old crying and went up to see what was wrong. Her window was also open. At this point, she was very frightened, so she gathered all of the kids, the cordless phone, and took them into a pantry closet in the kitchen. She called the police again, saying that she was really scared because someone keeps opening the windows and stealing her sandwiches -- and it's not the kids. They told her not to be worried, that they would be over in a few minutes to check it out.

She hung up the phone and held onto the kids tightly. A few minutes later, she heard a noise in the kitchen, and saw the knob turning on the pantry door. She was about ready to scream when a cop opened the door. She asked why they came so fast. He had a worried look on his face and told them to get out of the house. He then told her that on the phone, he heard a double click.

Took me a second to get it.

i dnt get it :S

This makes no sense to me either. So the babysitter and kids are seemingly safe because the cop opens the pantry door and tells them to leave the house. But then for some reason he tells them the same thing over the phone as well? And hears a double click? WTF!

I get most of it, the only thing I don't get is what does the 'Double-Click' mean?

When people hang up on phones, there is a CLICK. double click. Someone else is implied to be listening

"We forget that what matters begins with the imagination."
- Terry Brooks

I would like to consider myself a Floodian. WRLAAWRSHGLK!

This was told to me by a few different people. It seems to be a very popular story in Pennsylvania, as are many stories involving Gettysburg. This story is apparently true.

Two women had recently started jobs in an office in Gettysburg. They had both stayed late one night, and got on the elevator to go to the bottom floor. They pressed the button for the first floor, but something odd happened, and it continued on to the basement. When the door opened, they could not have been prepared for what they saw. Wounded men in Civil War clothing lay bleeding from various wounds on beds, some were screaming as their limbs were amputated without anesthetic. The severed arms and legs were piled up in the corner.

Needless to say, they were terrified. They couldn't even move out of fear. Then, a doctor walked across the the room in front of them, but stopped in front of the elevator. He turned and looked straight at them, then asked, "What are you doing?"

The women then bagan frantically pressing the first floor button. The doors closed, and the elevator went to the proper floor. They ran from the building, and did not return for a long while. Later, after hearing the story, a group of people went down to the basement to investigate and found only old filing cabinets and papers. There was no evidence at all of what had occured that night.

1.8.09 Not my story. (i need to write one, but it's hard to find a new idea. Ghosts stories, murderers, ect. It's all been done before!) >= (

There was an Irishman about 20 years old who was taking a vacation from Dublin with his friends to the northern Irish coast. It was a pretty countryside side there and they stayed in a small town.He went to the Irish coast one day for a nice visit of the ocean. He became lost and tried desperately to find his way back.

It was getting dark, and he finally saw a light on the coast. He came closer and it was a ship one the shoreline, and a man waved at him and said he could spend the night there since he was lost.He hung his red scarf on the door and the man gave him some soup there for dinner, and as he was eating something scary happened. The old sailor was looking at him and was sharpening his large knife, and was walking back and forth behind him as he was eating his soup at the table. He felt very nervous.

He then went to sleep that night in a room of the small ship, and kept waking up to the sound of a knife sharpening. With his fears growing he looked through the keyhole, and it was the sailor sharpening his knife coming trait towards his room.He then jumped out of the window in his room and made his escape. He never went to sleep again that night.

He told his friends the next morning and they informed him that a college student like himself had been stabbed to death by an old sailor many years earlier. The sailor that killed the college student was hung.He was terrified and new that he was a victim of the ghosts of the man.He and his friends went back to the ship, and it looked older than it had been before, and they walked inside and saw that his scarf had been hung on the door from the terrifying night earlier.

Be not afraid of greatness; some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.

i've actually beenw writing a mystery story for fun...it's not finished but i suppose i could give people a sneak peek

The hexagon was a place of mystery, nobody knew how they got there and nobody knew why they were there...All anyone knew was the occurance of an "incident". All those living in the hexagon were working towards retirement on the wonderful x-station.

Jeffery didn't like the mystery, what incident?, how did they arrive at the hexagon, and why were people younger than Jeff being sent off to retirement without working more than a few days?

When Jeff asks one too many questions he is forced to face a truth so terrifying he suddenly understands that the hexagon is the one place he belongs.

don't expect it anytimes soon...if at all, i may get bored...and i may not like it when i'm done

Be not afraid of greatness; some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.

okay since my story is taking longer than i though...and it's not exactly panning out how i wanted, I thought i'd contribute a bit...i'm making this up as i go along but i sort of have the general idea.

As a kid I was never one for horror movies, so when my friends asked me to come watch the latest slasher flick I told them i didn't feel well and that I was going to bed. It was a decent lie but I knew they could see right through it. Before i hung up the phone i could hear giggling which eventually turned into laughter. Angry at myself i slammed the phone down. I sat down at my desk and stared into space...the next thing i knew i was waking up to the sound of the phone ringing. I turned my head and looked at the clock to see it glowing 12:01am.

"Who would be calling at this time", i thought to myself as i scrambled to pick up the phone.
"feeling better?" a voice came booming over the line.
"mmm, yeah a little i suppose" i replied, still not completley awake.
I heard what sounded like more giggling, then the phone then went dead...
"weird" i thought as i hung up the phone.

I checked the caller-ID, just as i suspected it was my friends house calling. I knew i heard laughing..Maybe they hadn't watched the movie yet and were seeing if i still wanted to come see it. I mustered up the courage grabbed my keys and got in my car. It was eerie being on the road so late...alone, normally i have someone with me. My new found courage was slowly fading...but i managed to ignore the knot in my stomach and before i knew it i arrived at my friends place.

I heard loud voices and sounds coming from inside...i knocked on the door and there was no answer. Figuring no one had heard me i let myself in, my friend had given me the spare and i always had it on me. As i opened the door the sounds loudened. Something seemed familiar about them, i couldn't quite make the voices out.
"Hello??" i called out, "I decided I would come watch the movie with you guys"
I got no answer, but i suspected they still couldn't hear me.
I walked over to my friends room and opened he door. My brain tried to comprehend what i could see but my eyes wanted to close.

There lying on the floor were my friends...the carpet and walls were covered in blood. In my friends hand was his telephone. As i slowly grasped hold of the situation my senses kicked back in, and i lifted my head to the TV to see the movie looping over and over on one scene. A women lay in a hospital bed. A doctor approached her and said in a fairly familiar voice

"Felling better?"

THE END.

meh...turned out alright.i lost my train of thought for a while and couldn't write a sentence without having to read it a bunch of times before it made sense to me.
