Honestly I played Halo CE last night just to look over Sidewinder, and I have to say I am rather pleased, lets just hope they don't scale things down too much.
But I'm still angry at whomever decides the pricing at BUNGIE - blaming Microsoft for your obvious GREED is a blatant disservice to your fans
4 Maps- 800 MS points - COD4 Variety Map Pack - FOUR MAPS - I suppose you're gonna try and sell me that Infinity Ward has a better relationship with Microsoft then Bungie??
Gears of War gave us 6 maps for 800 points if you count the first two that were absolutley free from the start - grow a pair and do good by your fanbase or watch it dwindle back down to the Halo 2 kids - the ball is in your court now
Yes but H3 is the fastest selling most popular game world wide. Therefor the product is worth more. Honestly you are compareing Big K cola with Coca cola and there is an obvious price difference there. MS believes that H3 content is worht more than cod4 or GoW content and ,really can you blame them?
More like, they know they can charge that much...so they will. It honestly is in Microsoft's court though and Bungie (even though they created the game) can only do so much, considering Microsoft owns the Halo IP. And if Bungie were to confront Microsoft about it, it would be a huge risk for such a small outcome.
So if anyone should get flak about the high price, it should be Microsoft first, then Bungie in a distant second. And in the end, you can always wait for the new maps to be free. That's what I plan to do with the Legendary Map Pack. Because it's hard for me to justify 3 maps for 10 dollars, being a consumer who looks for the best possible deals.
In other words, do I like the price? No. But will I criticize Bungie for the problem? Absolutely not. I hope at least a few people will read this and stop crying with their rich socialite lovers .
