Bnet should save your sent Private Messages also. I just got a message that was a reply and it said "yeah i no!". I have no idea what I said to him in the first place, it's hard to keep track.

With a reply like that, you've just gotta know what you said first!

Just kidding, I completely agree, although I'm sure Bungie is well aware of this suggestion.

Hello.

Although it could be a great feature on Bungie.net it would double the amount of database space that personal messaging system requires. That could cost Bungie extra money, on top of what they pay for fast servers with what I assume is unlimited bandwidth usage.

You have to ask yourself, is it really necessary?

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Text doesn't really take up a whole lot of space in the grand scheme of things. Of all the problems with creating this feature, I really doubt that space requirements would factor into the decision.

Implementation would probably be a much larger hurdle. It would probably require a fairly expansive reworking of the PM system in order to integrate it properly. And with that comes the possibility of messing something up and creating bugs in the PM system.

That said, though, I'd really like to see this feature.
