There is a program over at www.halo3timer.com which counts down weapon and power up spawns on your computer, and plays an audio file of the spawns at 30 seconds, 10 seconds, and spawn. VERY helpful to controll the match. Keep your speakers up and go to your TV. Start the program as the game starts, and you'll know when and where every powe weapon is.
Can this make me banned.
Nope. It's not a hack, mod, or anything that can change anyone's playing experience. All it will do is help you keep track of spawn times. Here's a little information for people who may not know, or question the moral of this program-
Professional MLG teams have coaches. These coaches stand behind them during the match. He also has a screen split into 4's that shows each of his player's screens. He has a mic that is wired in with the whole team. You know what one of his main jobs are? Keep a mental note of EVERY spawn time. We're talking Camo, Custom, Sniper, Rocket, Mauler, Hill Movement, etc. He keeps a running clock of each of these items in his head, and calls out to his team when they are available.
How does he accomplish such a task? When he sees someone pick up a weapon, or someone on his team calls out a weapon being picked up, he looks at the game clock, and subtracts the time it will take for that weapon to spawn. He keeps a memory of the spawn times of EACH weapon, so that his team knows when to attack rockets and gain control of them. He does this, and still manages to tell his team what to do, when to set up, how many players on the other team are alive, where they are spawning, and call outs. The coach is the unseen underdog of the MLG circuit.
Now, where am I getting with all of this? Your timer will keep track of all those weapons for you. It will call out the weapons/power ups times in 30 seconds, 10 seconds, and spawn intervals. If two weapons/powerups are going to be called out for spawn at the same time (ex: Sniper 10 seconds, Custom 30 seconds), it will prioritize what is more important. In this case, the Sniper. It'd be confusing if it called out two thigns at once, so instead, it will only call out the Sniper, and then call out the Custom at its next interval (10 seconds).
So for those who question the moral of this, look at how Professional teams PAY a coach to help them out. Some players can keep track of some spawns, mostly after they pick up the specific weapon. This just makes it easier, and is especially helpful for those who are just starting out timing power weapons.
