Hey Shadow i have a 43 in LW but my highest skill is 44 and y got in LW but i can't level to 44 again what i should to do?
Alright. Here's what's the issue with Lone Wolves. Most people come into Lone Wolves with the mindset of Team Slayer. Meaning that they dont want to die. For god's sake. If you dont end that game between -2 and +2, you aren't doing the job right. Yes, if you go +8 in Lone Wolves, it better be because the other players suck terribly.
What I'm getting at is- DIE. Allow me to clarify. Sitting back on your side is the worst thing you can do. Go to the fight. Always. Unless you have a sniper rifle, I want you go jump into that fight. Even if you have the sniper rifle, go to a place where you can see the fight. If it's slayer on The Pit, and people are fighting on Blue platform, dont stay on Red Snipe 2 and snipe.
Lone Wolves is all about time. You need to act quick. Dont be afraid to die. Get kills. If you dont die as much, other players will make up for you, and your enemies will get kills faster that way.
Dont go completely out of your way to get a power weapon in Lone Wolves. It'll waste time, and Power Weapons exchange hands way to often in Lone Wolves.
Above all, remember what I said about the BR. Keep it on you and steal kills. While running to the fight, scope in and look for people with no shields. Dont shoot at them if they have full shields and are in a battle. No need to help out someone else. Let them weaken eachother and then clean up.
In closing, get the fight, have a BR and an SMG/AR/Shotgun/Mauler on you. They're versatile weapons that are readily available, and allow you to change your tactic on the fly.
Most importantly, learn the Auto Stick button combo. First, you need a non-full clip. This means, get a shot off, preferably on the enemy. Then, you need to press MELEE, RELOAD, GRENADE. Quick, but not too quick. What this will do is make you lock on, and get right next to them, cancel the melee before it does damage (which makes you stall for about a second), and stick them immediately. It may take some time, but this will allow you to stick someone just before you die, even if your crosshairs aren't on them. Doing this will get you a kill when you're about to die, and with Lone Wolves, getting double kills is easy with sticks.
Now, I'm not a Lone Wolves master, only gotten a 50 in it a couple times, and my teammate could probably tell you more than me, but if I get anything across, it's get there quick. It's a race for kills. Lone Wolves isn't about having a great K/D spread. It's about getting the most kills fast.
Another thing, this is the cheapest thing you can do, but in some cases you just have to do it if you want to win. Keep an eye on who's in the lead if you aren't. If the person in the lead has 24 kills, and you're in second with like 20 or so, you're probably not going to win. Now here's the problem. The person in 3rd might have 18 or 19 kills. It's better to grab 2nd than to tie for 2nd or get 3rd. So, if you find yourself in this situation, and it's comming down to the wire, you might have to do this:
Let the person in the lead kill you.
It guarantees yourself you position before another enemy can bump you down.
