I'm informing all of you to not waste money on worthless items.
If you are referring to a quality monitor that's the correct size (20-26 in) with a good response time (<5ms) and a quality headset (Astro A40s) as worthless items, you are far from right.
Also, taking Halo seriously and having a social life are completely unrelated. You can play A LOT of halo while being a full time student, having a GF and maintaining plenty of solid friendships.

Anyone who pays money for a timer and extra thumb stick pads just needs to open a few windows or step outside for a bit and have a new approach on life and stop wasting their money. Taking video games that serious is just pathetic.

40$ For thumbsticks thats way worth it i mean people should take the game that serious! Paying that much for more rubber on rubber is worth it.
First off, the thumb grips I use cost $5, but I got them for free from work because the packaging was destroyed. And no thumbstick or grip I showed cost $40, but good job at marking it up to make it a bigger deal than what it is. If you dont like it, dont watch it or comment. Certainly dont go and post insults to other people.
As for not having a life, that's a completely different common misconception. Everyone thinks that just because you're good at a game, you must not have a good social life. For me, I find myself rather skilled at Halo, I'm running for vice president of my fraternity next year, I'm a 3.6 student at my university, and I'm about to be move in with my girlfriend. I think I'm doing alright.
I dont think the fact that I saved up some money to buy a decent screen or headset or thumb grips matter that much.
But thanks for the read.
