Hey, I'd just like to announce that I'm starting yet another sub-series to my "My Tips To Reach 50!" video series. They are called "Gamplay" videos. As you'd expect, they're straight first-person videos from beginning to end of matches I play. Some I will narrate, and some I'll just post the video. Hopefully you guys can grab something from them. If I could suggest anything, it would be to note how I start off each map in each gametype. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to get constant updates.

What is Reach 50, do you mean Level 50, like in one playlist for the Rogue helment? WHY IS EVERYONE SO OVERHEADED ABOUT LVL 50?
It's his tips to help you guys make it a Rank 50 in Halo 3. Most people want a 50 So that once they reach a 50, they can start chilling in Social or Double EXP weekend. Some people want it for bragging rights or to look good.
I just prefer a snazzy and catchy title. I guess I could have named it "My Tips To Help You Get Better At Halo" but that's kinda long and not very memorable. At least I've got a unique name people can remember.

I have to disagree about getting mad and using rushing tactics. Rushing has actually worked for me a lot. One time, I was playing on Team Slayer on The Pit, and kept getting killed by snipers, sword-carriers, shotgunners, and kept getting caught in BR crossfire against multiple well-coordinated, skilled enemies.
Well, what did I do but get really mad. I went for either the plasma rifles or SMGS every life, and I went crazy, raining pure pain down on the enemy players. I still died several times, and we lost the game, but I got about two kills per life once I got mad. (Not too great, but better than had been doing before.)
I'm saying, if you get mad, channel that anger into giving you more focus, accuracy, and determination - that's what I do if I get mad.
This is coming from a not very skilled player though, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm not very qualified to give advice considering my low skill level.
True, getting angry does release more adrenaline into the body, and thus granting further focus. I'm just aiming that point at people who get pissed at dying, and decide running solo at 2 people at once just because they're upset wont do the job. Sure, you may get lucky and grab a kill going 1v2, but chances are, unless you go clutch, you're not going to kill both, and going 1 for 1 when you are losing doesn't help.

First post on Bungie forums ever, finally broke down and got live about 8 months ago. I'm a huge fan of the halo series and I've been playing since everyone in my freshman dorm got me hooked on halo 1 back in 2002.
Just wanted to say Kamikaze makes a really good point. It takes enough dedication to check your own e-mail every week, so I can only imagine how much dedication it takes to stick with a forum discussion for over two years. As one halo fan to another, thanks for giving tips to people and taking the time to reply.
Welcome to the Bungie forums! Glad you decided to break the ice here. Yeah, it's been a blast keeping up with the thread. It's because of it's followers that it was pinned under Top Forum Topics, and thus has given me a great fan base to give ideas to, not to mention it's allowed me to get some cool stuff thrown my way. Keeping up with the questions and such is just my way of saying thanks. The only part that's unfortunate is the sheer number of requests I receive to have people play with me. Although I'd love to meet my fans, and see if I could help them further, if I play with one, I've got to play with them all, and that doesn't leave any ME time. I held a "Community Play Day" a while back, and I got a good number of people that night, and I've been thinking about doing that again. The only downside was that I got some people who didn't really like me in there, and they spent the day talking trash about me and my videos. Didn't create too great an atmosphere. Oh well, guess I gotta take the bad with the good.
