I think it ought to be the same box canyon, but much larger. Larger bases, larger and more intrincate caves and hangars that house the flying vehicles, that in my opinion should be in the walls of the box canyon, at a considerable altitude of 20 meters. They should be accessed by a teleporter and some large staircase. That would be fun...

Yeah and add some turrets on the sides of the cliffs so someone cant run your life with a ghost during capture the flag!

they should like put turrets on the bases and have like platforms that jut off the sides of the cliffs that had ladders that go up to them...ya, and those platforms would have turrets too.

Blood gulch was my favorite Halo multiplayer map. I hope it's in Halo 2.

Good call. I was thinking something similar to that, the same layout as the original only bigger in scale. Since theres a ton more vehicles to chose from, then they should make more room to use them. Also I wouls like to see some type of water in the map, maybe a stream or river that cuts right down the middle, and the only way to cross it is two bridges that cross over it. The bridges have levers on them so they act like drawbridges, and the two bridges each have there own corresponding sides, so that each team has a bridge theyre able to control.

Plus, of corse the visuals of BG are gona change, so that it wont seem as bland as the first map in Halo 1. The other feature is to have a different weather patterns such as heavy rain, heavy wind storms with dust kick up, and snow similar to that on the Assualt on the Control Room. Plus the ability to change the time of day you play, so you can either play during the say, or at dusk/dawn, or in the pitch black of night and only your flashlight can light your path.

Didn't Bungie say that they're are only making a few new multiplayer levels, and bring the rest back?

I really like Blood Gulch. My favorite 'big' level in the game. And I would like to see it return in Halo 2, so I can smear your blood on the walls over Live. But I'd also rather try some of the new maps they've come up with. The way Char described Burial Grounds in OXM made me extremely excited, and I really can't wait to try the map. Plus it just looks awesome. Mmmm.....bump mapping.
