I would think that ragdol would be very sweet. Think about riding a warthog and running over a group of people or throwing grenades at people. For me that would make the game 120% sweetness.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

I agree. I don't care if ragdoll is a bit unrealistic... I just think its funny as hell. Just play DX2. I've spent hours just picking dead guys up and throwing them around in that game...

Halo 1 was ragdoll. Halo 2 will be more realistic.

The problem with ragdoll is that everything eventually looks to unreal because of the truley strange positions some of the characters land in.

no, Halo 1 was definitly not ragdoll, but I think this would ONLY look good for SPARTANS. All the other characters like Marines, grunts, and elites I don't think would look realistic with ragdoll physics.

Does it look any stranger than death animations? Where someone will land halfway through a wall, then either stay like that, or magically pop out of the wall. I like rag doll, especially in max payne 2.

Whenever you blew someone up in Halo they flew throught the air with their arms and legs swinging wildly in every direction. That is ragdoll. Get it? Ragdolls have no muscles so if you threw one its arms and legs would flail around like MC's when he gets blown up.

Thus, Ragdoll physics are Halo 1 physics.

Yeah...thats another problem for Bungie, when players die they can go through a wall. Meaning, no polygon clipping in Halo 2.

Wrong. Halo's death animations were scripted.
