Is there a way I can download the Halo CE bonus levels like Death Island, Timberland, etc., straight to my Xbox 360 from Xbox Live? Or is the only way by buying the PC version? Can someone help enlighten me on this because I'd like to try out those maps.

The only way to play those maps is to buy Halo PC.

I highly doubt those PC maps would even run that well on emulated Xbox hardware through the 360. They're much much larger, support tons more vehicles and are packed with more stuff like excessive amounts of trees (Timberlands) that would altogether bring down the framerate to unplayable levels. The new maps are clearly built to take advantage of PC hardware only.

Alright well cool, thanks guys. I'm not sure if I'm going to put down the money on Halo for PC, but I was just curious if there was any other way. And uh...Master Kim...don't hurt yourself.

Alright then, you can consider this thread closed then. Unless anyone has something different they know about.

Thanks again.
