I'm hoping that this is the correct place to be posting this...

I often find that while browsing the forums, I find a number of posts that are either completely off topic, are to do with some certain armor, are advertising links or links to vulgar external websites etc. and therefore feel the need to use the report button. I am just wondering:

1. Who does this actually report the threads to? Do they go to Achronos who then has to sort them or inform ninjas of them or do they go straight to the ninjas? and

2. How long generally does it take these threads to be noticed by moderators? I know that there may not always be a mod online and that they must also be quite busy with so many threads to monitor but I often report a thread that should obviously be locked and find that it is still in fact open a day later.

Any feedback on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks.

1. I think it just goes to a random moderator

2. It takes a couple of reports usually before a mod usually sees it.

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

1. It goes to the report queue, which are then sorted and exposed to a moderator tool assuming certain criteria are met (mostly checking against abuse).
2. That depends on how many people report it and how fast the moderators are going through the queue of "report jobs". In addition, just because you report it doesn't mean the moderator will agree with you. They still are going to decide what the appropriate action is - so you shouldn't worry about what happens to a post after you report it.

1. I think it adds the post to a certain list that mods have access to.
2. I think they are ordered by the amount of reports filed
