In groups.

When we are in groups, it would be awesome to get the yellow text for admins and the salmon text for leaders/mods of each group.

This would be especially helpful for when you first joined a group. Its hard to pick out the "leaders" posts sometimes because they just blend in with everyone else.

Also as an admin, it would be much more noticeable and easier to get your point across, and alert PPL of events and such. I know we have news articles but yellow text would make it feel more "normal" and let us be more like Bungie.

EDIT - only 2 colors would be used, gold and salmon. It could be turned on or off. Also each new security role created would have the option of the 3 different colors while posting.

Hello.

I agree, of course, that would only make everything look cooler. They need to work on issues first (not that there are any), than, they can work on some of the cool things.

But, yes, I would like this.

It would be a cool feature to assign colors for security roles, but it's not absolutely necessary.

Not neccassary but really cool it would be.

It would be a very nice luxury.

I would like it, if it could be turned off and on.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

Colors are all fine and dandy, but not before mass PM's. Definitely not before.

I'm betting Cryptic would enjoy that feature very much.

Allright I can give you that 1. Maybe together in a mega-update.

Come check out the The Christian Halo Union. Whether you’re looking for fellowship, intelligent discussion, positive gamers, or maybe you just want to have fun, you'll find it with us. With over 650 members and counting, we're the most active Christian group on Bungie.net.

It could be useful, but only to an extent. Too much color on a forum can be catastrophic. I say we stick with the main colors—orange and yellow—to avoid permanent brain damage. And even then, make it an assigned privilege like locking threads and editing posts.

Hello.

But people with that security permission should determine which roles get Salmon and which roles get Yellow.

SalmonEh, it looks orange on my monitor. On-topic, I see why you want it, but member titles work fine by themselves IMO.

exactly. You would be able to turn it on or off to begin with. Further each new security role you make would have the option of either normal, salmon, or gold text.

How about just one title that you could assign to the admins? Two would be nice, but I doubt it would ever happen.

Admin has 1 title and the mods/leaders many more, there we go.

All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Mass PM and the Changed Group colors. C'mon Bungie you know you want to do it.

Believe me, you don't need fancy text to be "speeshal".

I personally wouldn't want this feature (and we'll probably never get it anyway). Gold and salmon text is for Bungie employees and ninjas, not any random ten-year-old who makes a group with himself as the only member.

Although, now that I think about it, it could be implemented for group VIP's--not rank-related, but simply admin-granted.

So I think Jun's a master chef, because he takes off his helmet and your like whoa, I think he's a chef.

So to shorten this up, Jun is master chef.

I think that it would help. It is a visual thing and, when you see that gold text, it just gives the post a little more merit. I've always wanted this feature, but I don't understand why there is yet to be an implementation of it.
