Nope. 1 machine 1 person 1 legal copy of the game per player. This works out better for PC gamers because we don't have to pay for online play. Peronally I'd rather have free multiplayer than pay-per-play splitscreen. LAN-co-op would be nice tho.

how exactly would you expect to play split screen anway? it's not like you can plug two mice into your comp, and if you do, one just will ovveride the other; there's no way to seperate them

i always thought that if there was a programe that could do split screen that it would have somthing in it to keep it from doing that, if such a thing existed i would get it.
hook my 36in TV to my comuter, get 2 wireles keyboards/mouses and split the wires to my pc speekers with the masive suround sound ones in the living room. a nice idea, but thats all it seems to be for now, an idea.
but i can still play halo PC of my tv on line at least.

Yeah, plugging into a bigger screen can be nice, considering I'm used to a 15 inch CRT...whoah, 36 inch would be crazy. I should look into that.

The limitation is the need for two simultaneous and seperate inputs...it just won't happen with pc's.

Ouch I don't even want to know the price tag on a moniter that big. Mine's only 17" and it was about $300. I think that's how much it cost but I probably got ripped off anyway lol.

Heyyo,

Obviously you guys have never heard of the Serious Sam series. 2 mice on 1 comp, can use as many keyboards and joysticks as you want, 4 play split screen coop with up to 16 online. ;)

There's Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, and now? in the makings... Serious Sam 2. :)

[EDIT]
Oh, the netcode's top-knotch. There can be over 30 monsters on the screen attacking me and I have a ping of 90, and none of them warp... incredible. =D

Serious Sam owns. And btw, Free? There's no such thing as free, that just means you don't know what they've taken from you.

Heyyo,

Free, as in you casually walked in, and ripped it off the shelf and ran? :p

Serious Sam's a generic name for a fun and generic FPS. I like it. The game's not uber-serious cause of the types of badguys, but it'll provide you with a few hrs of fun, serious deatmatch is probably the craziest, and funnest deathmatch I've ever played. The best is on the snow level for the 2nd encounter, lmao, too insane! :)
