Since the best course of action against a SPAMmer here is to report them to a mod, I was thinking it would make this much easier to have some kind of link on the side that goes to a page showing all the mods, and wither or not they are on, then users could PM one from there. Just an idea.

Now that's an idea.

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Maybe a sticky then.. Is there one? I'm not sure.

And what if the thing showed that all the mods were offline? (which actually sometimes happens). Then all of the spammers would know that there's no chance of being caught until someone gets online, rather than now, where you have no idea what's going on.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

I was about to say what little rat said. Good thing I checked the thread first. I guess getting up at 5 AM and on the site by 6AM isn't early enough...

This, like many other ideas, could work but remember- Jerks screw everything up. Custom Avatars, Feedback system, the ability to post pictures directly on some sites (aka this one) etc.

Well, there are mods from different timezones. I know at least one is English. You're gonna get a good amount of overlap.

I think they are form different timezones. I think it is a good idea. SPAM is a growing problem. That would be a way to cut down on the amount of it.

how can you be sure that the spammers ain't going to put crazy messages directly to the mods? that would only make it worst, i think it's fine the way it is, after all Bungie has been running for years.
