Its cool, but the pixels are very messed up. I suggest you make your own blue rectangles, so the image does not look pixley. (Other than that I like the concept)

Thank you ARBITOR 5, I used Gimp to make this.

This is an Auntie Dot animation pulled from the Bungie Plays Paradiso Video.

My first try, be nice.

For you:

Long Version

Just out of curiosity.

How do some people get custom avatars. I know that you have to a Forum Ninja, Theme Master, or Bungie Employee, but I've seen people who are neither and still have a custom avatar.

How is that so?

I'm just wondering. If you can't say, that's fine.

=)

Five years older and wiser
The fires are burning, I'm fire, never tire
Slay warriors in the forests, and on hire

I'm bored and I'm thinking of my Live Theme Builder.

Should I start work on 2.0?

They must have been a former Ninja, Employee, or Theme Master. For example, Skibur was a ninja before, but stosh let him keep his avatar for whatever reason.

Well a friend of mine has a custom avatar, but was never a Forum Ninja, Theme Master, or Employee.

Are you sure it's custom? There are a lot of avatars, and some of them are rarely used and could be mistaken for a custom avatar.

Otherwise, I don't know. Ask your friend how he/she got it.

Yeah I'm positive.

It's not a huge customization, but it has RT at the bottom left hand corner.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Ah yes, I remember him =). It was quiet a while ago that that happened, last year around this time, maybe longer. His avatars the same as the original, just with RT in the lower corner. He made a joke about runningturtles name, called him RunningTurds or something of the sort. After that, he pretty much got the "custom" avatar.

Ah memories <3

Edit: To the above, I don't remember the full name, but I think the user name is something along the lines of "Scotty OWNS ALL"....though, I'm only positive about the Scott part... I don't even know if he has a Y in it...

His GT was unlinked. So I was severely confused. Hence the edit before your post.

It was an honest mistake.

Scotty's avatar was changed by one of the Bungie staff members as a prank. (I forget the story, but he does not have the ability to choose a custom avatar)

Indeed. Though, none the less, it is custom =)

He called 'Running Turtle', 'Running Turds', or something of the sort. It was quiet entertaining when it happened. So, running turtle edited the avatar for him. That way, he'd be the running turd =D
