When Halo 2 comes out, will Halo: Combat Evolved become a coaster for our drinks while we play Halo 2?

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

This is the way I do things. I play the game over and over, then focus on favorite levels. Then after a while, I go and I replay just to see the story line again... and in Halo's case, that means playing Halo through as well. From beggining to end. Then back to Halo 2 and play it through. Halo will never get old.

i dont know, i might go back to the first halo, but halo 2 will be a step up from everything in halo. and if halo 2 doesnt have Blood Gulch we'll just have to pop in halo for that.

I will just play Halo 2 for about a year or so, and then bring out halo on a rainy day.

Well I agree completely with the whole "If a friend needs a woopin'" thing. Because my friends frequently do, and nknowing them they wont get halo 2 for a while and if they do, will complain about not being as good at it. (Which is a given no matter how good the will be at H2) Also I have been one of the few pwoplw I know who go back and replay games for their story line. And have done so often with games like Onimusha, Devil May Cry, and Max Payne.. so yeah.

yeh i'd never let halo 1 collect dust no matter how much better halo 2 is i'll play it for the story line. liked id play halo 1 through yet again then go straight on to halo 2 to combine the story for complete undertadability ( i'm not sure if thats a real word but anyway) halo 1 will never collect dust in my house

I can see us breaking out the old disc every now and then for some old school style of Halo. We'll all be dressed in old clothes and look positively retro. Then we'll focus on how much the game has changed before we embark upon a quest to find the inflatable penguin.
