What cool places has work, school, or life in general taken you?

For my work, I have been to EMI Music Distribution (they own capitol records).
Awsome place to work, every desk has a stereo on it playing some new demo cd, every employee takes home about 50 new cd's a month for free, Heck, as a visiting software support rep i took home over 20 cd's for free.

Second, Playboy enterprises, Beverly Hills, and new location of the studio in south glendale.
The people who work there are really cool and laid back. I was training them on some stuff with a new system they got from us (this is the video department), and half the guys were not paying attention, lookeing around the corner. I go over to see what they are looking at, and behold, four small tv's mounted in a rack showing the current content running over the company owned cable stations.... yes full action.

I have been other cool places for work as well, but i will wait to see some posts before commenting again.

Oh, please no rude comments about the playboy thing... i don't want this thread locked due to your comments.

I've been all over Raytheon. You see some really cool stuff.

I've been in the restricted areas in Disney Land, California on four seperate occasions. That place is sort of nostalgic for me.

I've worked stage crew at the TCC.

I also did a charity with all the big-wigs with Honeywell.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Disneyland is okay, but I've gotta say that I enjoyed Universal Studios quite a bit more. The Backdraft experience was really memorable.

I've been to Nintendo of America HQ, but alas Digipen wasn't there back then :(

Backstage is cool no matter where you are. There are no cameras allowed. It's amazing what they have back there.

If you're in Seattle you should check out the Pacific Science Center, they've got some sick dinosaur exhibits.

Lionhead Studios. Peter turned down my offer of a piece of minibar Toblerone :-(
Except now my mate is working there as a tester (damn him to Hell).

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

Ellis Island National Park, NY.
Before the Park was opened to the public, we knew a Parks Ranger who worked there at the time, and she gave us a private tour. Most of the Island has since been sealed off from the public forever. We even got to see the human size ovens in the basement for all the immigrants who died of disease on the Island, never getting in America. Very Freaky.
