I have with a slower internet while minimized and listening to music. Just make sure your pc can handle halo 1 pc VERY well beyond what it needs.
well i think an quad core 2 gig ram 1 TB raid 0 hard disk and an gefoche 8600gs 512 mb gddr are fast enauf;)
NC if it was that fast it would be utterly out of this world lol
well it is:pnot really an halo 1 pc is it?:)more an crysis/bf 2142 thing which are games i play to:D and they run pretty good/perfectbtw there is an difference between kb and KB. KB is 8 time kb that's why some people say hu i have 3mb(not MB its an difference to...) but i only get 320KB that's actually almost 3mb(depending on location from your isp station thing for me that's less than 500 meter :) )[Edited on 03.25.2008 1:09 PM PDT]
Um you do realize that a dedicated server is just that right? A server. You don't actually run the game on it. The important thing is your internet connection.
it wont be an dedicated.it will be an in game server.but i may run dedicated to...but i think i can run it maybe an bit lagy when team speak is on to;)

Posted by: NC Gijs007hej guys i get my new adsl soon 1mb upload(about 100KB/s) and 20mb/s(2.5MB/s)so can i run 16 players without lag? As a rule of thumb each player requires aprox. 34 - 40kb/s UPLOAD speed from the server. So a 16 player server will require 544-640Kb/s (That is K bits per second) in upload speed from your ADSL line.

I would just like to add that his grammar and knowledge of network speed acronyms is horribly lacking.
