Fair point! I would suggest next time, just to be as detailed as possible with the issue. Provide time and date, forum section, link to post/reply, and link to user's account.
Think about it this way, your inbox is constantly full. You have an outside life that requires your attention. You have a responsibility to the B.Net site as a whole. If you get a message that requires you to deviate from that time you are required to spend maintaining the site and forum, you lose credibility.
In short, ninja's are people too, except maybe Yoozel.
It would be nice if someone asked how a community member/s can help a ninja/s
umm... yes i understansd that they are ppl too but you are missing the point.
The point is that if you ask questions like that "how can a member help"
Their answers will open our eyes better as to what these ninjas do/ have to do.
In the eg. mentined above... it wasn't that i wasn't thinking that they have lives too it's that
i/others are not aware of what is involved in moderating so in my eg. i thought he simply balcklists the abuser where in fact he actually has to find each post (of the spammer) and delet it one by one, hence the "links would be nice" responce.
get my point !?
edit:
so perchapse the question to be asked at the interview could be:
"how can a member/s help you when reporting or PMing you"
(and yes i am aware of the "report botton")
