Hey Bungie I got a question. I've bought the maps already 4 months ago and I've enjoyed them ever since. In your latest weekly update you told us that after the Heroic Map pack would be free people were forced to download these BEFORE they could play in hoppers such as BTB (ranked and social), Team Slayer and Rocket Race. This made me assume that maps, such as Rat's nest from now on will also be available on the casual Ranked/Social Big Team Battle playlist. Normally there were only 3 maps available at this point, namely Sandtrap, Valhalla and Last Resort. Assuming you guys use an equality system on BTB as well I believe that there's a chance of about 25% now that we get Rat's Nest on BTB, or 20% if Standoff is supposed to be available on BTB as well. I've played about 30 games of BTB yesterday, and I've never (NOT A SINGLE TIME) gotten one of the Heroic Map packs, we didn't get it as our first option and we even didn't get it if we vetoed our first option. Our of those 30 BTB games I've seen about 50 maps passing buy (20 got vetod so in total that makes 50) and no single Heroic Map pack map was spotted, not by anyone, not even by a few of my friends who played the same amount of BTB games yesterday, without me, so adding another 50 maps or so that wasn't rat's nest or standoff.
I'm just wondering if that was supposed to happen or that something goes wrong. The only reason for me to look forward to the maps being free even though I bought them already, is that I'm so much willing to play BTB on Rat's nest or RR on Standoff.
I'm pretty sure many more people have had the same question popping up yesterday and I'm wondering if ANYONE has seen any of the Heroic Map packs map in the casual hoppers yet?
I hope they will be available in the normal hoppers pretty soon cause if we still HAVE TO play the 3 "new" maps in DLC then I regret buying the min the first place. For 4 months it was ok to play them in there but after they were made free yesterday I, and many others, Can't wait to see them in the normal hoppers.
So Bungie are the new maps still going to be incorparated into the normal hoppers? or is the chance that you get a new map set to a default 1%?
