Am I the only one who thinks this was a waste of resources? I mean, Guardian is close enough to Lockout that I really didn't care. It was only the hardcore, 12 year old, chocolate milk drinking (just kidding on the last one) kids who were begging for this map. I mean, all my friends agreed, yes, we miss Lockout, but it's new design in Guardian is fine, and works to the mechanics of Halo 3.
I mean, we could have had a completely different map made, like, I don't know, Battle/Beaver Creek, as that isn't even slightly present in Halo 3. Or how about Wizard/Warlock, or maybe Midship. Something that wasn't done to some extent already.
i guess that 90% of halos population is 12 years old
I'll admit, Avalanche was a surprise that was welcomed, and Ghost Town looks like it'll be great, but this one is the major disappointment to me. I want something somewhat fresh. Now we'll have the twins: Guardian and Blackout... that seems like intellegent multiplayer map design.
I do agree that guardian was a close map to lockout, but if you just take a look at the fourms you will see the 100s of fans screamin for a real remake! just goes to show that bungie do listern, and for that im greatful.
Shame on you all for peer pressuring Bungie into this obviously silly idea.
