They are free to download off of live (unless they stopped hosting the files). I have the map pack disc and if you can find the videos on it they are entertaining to watch to see the reasoning behind the designs and for the Day at the Beach video short.

I bought it, too. I wish they'd put every map pack on a disk, mainly for people that don't have access to Xbox Live or are otherwise unable to download them.

You mean for H3? There are only two maps missing from the H2 add on disk (hang em hi and the other one that i cant remember). I dont think an add on disc will be made for H3 simply because you get a free silver account when you buy a 360. I dont have a 360 so i still cant get the two H2 maps (going to get live this summer though for my xbox) so another method would be nice (maybe being able o download to a pc and burn a disc yourself) but that wouldnt be in m$ best interests.

I am aware that they can be downloaded with a free silver account. But what if you're one of those people who can't get high speed internet? That's why I was saying I'd like to see all the maps on disks.

ARBITER, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!!! WORT WORT WORT.

All maps on discs would be hot. Then I could quit playing campaign for a change.

Like me. The only problem then is why would they need the maps? Unless they plan on having a lan game or a 4 player match getting the new maps isnt necessary (except for the sake of having them). Id imagine you could just bring your system over a friends house to get them since a new map disc wont be made. Im not saying it wouldnt be nice to have them on disc (a nice little backup) but M$ and bungie dont seem to care about the minority of the people who wouldnt have high speed.

You mean there are people without high speed internet that don't host LANs or have split-screen matches? I do have high speed, and I still bought the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack. It's just a useful thing to have.
