Please give your system specs, especially what graphics accelerator you use.

Oh and i forgot to mention this as well...

Your Computers video driver was not tested with this game. A newer version that is compatible may be available. if you wish to update your drivers, please contact your computers manufacturer for any necssary assistance.

Machine info : 1200mhz, 128mb. 64m nVidia Geforce4 mx 420

then it says i can continue or continue in safe mode.....Neather work

Where can i find a new driver?

A new computer would help, but...

Make sure there are no other processes/programs running when you play Halo. Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the Task Manager, and end all processes you don't need under "User Name - Owner". All my computer needs are "explorer" and "taskmgr". Shut off your screen saver (don't really know why this helps, but it does sometimes).

If Halo is not working at all, but did before, try uninstalling and then re-installing.

Hopefully this helps.

Heyyo,

Err.. you forgot "systray" that's pretty important too. :p

anywho, dude with the prob, did you update your videodrivers anytime before? cause I suggest upgraind to forceware v53.22 and then stopping there, cause anything higher seems to have problems with halo.

I believe you thinking of Win98. I don't have that with my WinXP. You can also shut down a lot of the "system" and "local" processes, but you have to look up / search which ones.
