Today I logged in to B.net and found my avatar to be a lock!

At first I thought I have been banned or blacklisted (I didn't do anything) so I checked my posts and they were still there which means no BL or ban.

After several minutes it changed back to normal.

Any ideas why this happened?
Is this a bug?

Thats quite odd. I would guess that it is a bug, but other than that I have no clue.
Occasionally my avatar in the top right of the page would revert back to the default one until I refreshed the page, so it might be related.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Wow,bizzare much?

Probably a bug. It works now, right?

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Some sort of load problem I guess. Hard refreshing the page I’d image would fix it. If the problem persists, try cleaning your cache.

Just thinking out loud here.

What if when someones is blacklisted, instead of their avatar appearing, it's a lock (or a red circle with a slash. It could totally work.

That'd be great if upon clicking it you were redirected to the page that tells you who banned you, how long for and shows a link to the thread you were banned from. I'd love to see that addition (provided it isn't on me when I log in). Very good idea.

Good idea for your part also. It could also tell you why you were banned too.

I'm going to submit this thread to the "Suggest Next Big Feature" thread.

Loose talk is noose talk.

Wierd... anyway when you get blacklisted, nothing happens to your account, you just can't report or post in the main forums (doesn't stop you from posting in groups).

Also, you can still PM. But some use this to try and appeal their 3 day ban o_0.

True... I didn't do that though. Back on topic, I think that you shouldn't even be able to participate here on Bungie if you have been blacklisted. It ruins the purpose. EDIT: That's what happens when you run on Firefox.

Oh I never meant that, just that their avatar would be turned into a lock or circle-with-slash- and their post would be the blacklist message.
