I played Halo 1 online on Xbox and tell u the truth i didnt like it.

The sniper rifle ruled the game. All u had to do was get the gun, get camoflaged and u can kill like 10 people. I made the mistake of actually trying to use a warthog only to be snipered again. Now i know snipering is part of most games and snipering can be avoided, but its just that the sniper weapon seems to be the ultimate unbalanced weapon with almost no flaws.

And in Halo 2 with the rocketlauncher. Should i even bother to get in a vehicle, especially the slow Warthog? Cause as soon as i get riding i know im going to have like 3 rockets following me.

Will Halo 2 be the game where most people die every 10 secs, or will it involve a better strategy than just hopping around to survive?

its called get in a banshee so you see where the rocket is coming and you move. you can do that wit all vehicles unless your blind. sniper wont be able to stay on a fast flying banshee but a warthog yes. so just use a banshee since theyre in mp in halo2

The sniper rifle wasn't unbalanced, in my opinion. If you grabbed camo and fire, your camo goes away for a few seconds and you become visible again. Also, it makes a really loud bang and leaves a jetstream, so you can tell where it came from. I'd have to say that the pistol was a little unbalanced if you knew how to use it. Three shots to the head (which only takes a couple seconds) and you die. It wasn't loud and it left no jetstream, and it could be used for a fair distance.

I agree with the Big C. I never had that problem becuase as soon as I found someone was sniping me I would take cover and find them using the jetstream. You probably just need to get better at the game.
